Pixton.com Comic Strip For Teaching
Reflection
The use of Pixton.com can be a huge tool for any teacher. This website allows you to create comic strips that are used to teach about a certain subject. As shown above, The Rise and Fall of Julius Caesar is the topic that I chose and by using Pixton.com I was able to create a short and fun description of the rise of Julius Caesar and the inevitable death that became of him. Using a comic rather than just another hand out can be a fun way to help your students learn. This tool can make anyone without an artistic bone in their body actually feel like they are creating something worthwhile as well as educational for the students.

Understanding the use of writing code as well as understanding code is a major key in advancing yourself in society. Code can help complete tasks that the normal code couldn't complete. The training received from Code.org was very fun and interactive where the students go through tasks almost like games where they can work with block coding and creating code that will help complete tasks.

Word clouds are fun and interesting ways to get your topic to your students. Having a long and boring Power point presentation can be exhausting for a student but if the key words are highlighted in a subject area, it is easier for the student to understand what is important and what needs to be remembered. I used a research paper I created regarding Galileo and the Spanish Inquisition and as you can see above, the words that are most important are larger than the words that aren't as important.
